I have in my possession my origianl cashiers check for over $15,000.00. I was told the cashies check was as good as cash (by the bank itself), when I went to cash it and deposit it I was told the check was stale. Then I was told to get in touch with unclaimed money, I have contacted every agency you can name and nobody can help me recover my money.The president of the bank just said sorry it was nice doing business with you for over 35 years but there is nothing I can do to help you with this.
I am a widow and need my money. I am willing to listen to anyone who may be able to shed some light on the situation. I have contacted the banking commissioner but no answer in over a year. Anyone have suggestions?

I had a similar experience with Wachovia. Good luck getting anything resolved since they are now Regions.
